Every second 3 sharks are killed by human hands, and many of them simply have their fins cut off for use in Shark Fin Soup and their bodies thrown back into the ocean.

This mass slaughter of sharks is not only bad for the world’s shark population but the entire ocean ecosystem as well. With sharks removed from the ocean the food chain, and hence the eco-system, is thrown out of balance.
